Revel’s hotel tower is the tallest structure in Atlantic City and the second tallest in the state of New Jersey at 710 feet, and the second tallest casino tower in the United States. Work performed included concrete foundation removal, 290,000 cubic yards of bulk excavation and backfill, steel sheet piling, excavation around 15,000 auger cast piles, six large tower mat foundations, each with an average of 4,200 cubic yards of concrete and 1,200 tons of rebar, 500 foundations in low-rise, podium and parking garage totaling 34,300 cubic yards of concrete and 3,000 tons of rebar. The job was completed in just nine months.
