Carl Abbonizio Founder – Began business in Pennsylvania as C. Abbonizio and Sons in 1968. The company moved to and incorporated in the State of New Jersey in 1973 as C. Abbonizio Contractors Inc. (CAC). Since its inception, CAC has expanded from originally just performing site development, and excavation to include highway road construction, sanitary and storm sewer systems, water main systems, and installation of handicap ramps and concrete & asphalt paving, with revenue growing from $5,000,000.00 to over $65,000,000.00 in annual gross sales.

Today C. Abbonizio Contractors Inc. is wholly owned by family members. In 2009 Carl’s son took over the reins as President, Anthony Abbonizio as Senior Vice President, and James Abbonizio as Vice President. Carl remains active in the business, is Chairman of the Board, and serves as the company consultant.
